Class record and term grades
Grading weights, columns per period, the 1.0–5.0 scale, grade marks and releasing term grades.
Set up once per class
Choose the weights of Major Exams, Projects and Class Standing (they add up to 100%) and the taxonomy you follow. Columns are grouped by grading period: Prelim and Midterm make up the Midterm grade; Semi-final and Final make up the Final Term grade.
Columns
- Linked assessments fill their column automatically when you finalize a score.
- Add manual columns for anything graded outside Qyubie, and type the scores in.
- Attendance can count as its own column.
How grades are computed
- The Midterm (MT) and Final Term (FT) grades are shown on the school's 1.0–5.0 scale.
- The Final Grade (FG) is the average of the MT and FT grades.
- 3.0 is the lowest passing grade. Failing grades are shown in red.
- In place of a computed Final Grade you can mark a student WD (Withdrawn), DR (Dropped), NG (No Grade), NA (Never Attended) or NC (No Credit).
Release term grades
Release the Midterm, the Final Term, the Final Grade with Remarks, or all at once, to selected students or the whole class. Students see a copy of the grade as it was when you released it, so release again after scores change.
